School often sucks, let’s be honest about it. The education system was made to service the average child, and as a result over half of American children start the school-year behind. It isn’t just the children either. Our educators are often overworked and underpaid, which only makes the problem worse.
Torch Tutors was devised to combat this. Located in Augusta, Georgia, we aim to address these issues and more, with the ultimate goal of relighting the knowledge-consuming flame within your child’s mind.

Torch Tutors is concerned with decidedly two aspects of the business of tutoring: Treating our tutors with respect to their duties of educating and treating our students with their futures and infinite potential in mind.
Our dedication to these two values extends into the base of our operations. We have built this company with this mindset as our foundation. This means that if there is a way to pay our tutors more, we will do this; if there is a way to lower the prices of our services for you, we will do this; if there is a way to better convey the information that our students and their parents need, we will do this.
